ResultsCalming Collars. They work, naturally! Here are a few stories of how these collars have worked and other comments from our customers. We'd love to hear from you. Just send us your story to results@calmingcollars.com. Sharon: Thank you again for sending those calming collars for Minnie and Katie. Sunday was the real test because thunder was rumbling in the distance, which started Katie (big girl) on her usual hunt for a safe place. She was ready to start climbing onto furniture (like behind the china hutch) and pacing all over the house. I got out the collars..and it was amazing. Both wanted their collars on. Then, within a few minutes, both of them settled down and ended up dozing off for the rest of a stormy afternoon. Normally, they would have been nervous wrecks. Can you make these for people? Lesley: As written in her local Craig’s List: I have a dog, who's been my buddy for five years; he was rescued from terrible violent conditions; he was scared of thunder, lightening, loud noises, being left alone (separation anxiety) and six months ago I found a wonderful site where they make and sell calming collars with all natural ingredients. Beauie and Xena: I just love the calming collar. I was a skeptic because my guys are pretty hyper and I have tried herbal supplements in the past that haven't worked but as soon as I put the collar on we all fell asleep on the couch! It was pretty funny. I guess it worked on me as well. They wear them through out the day and it has helped with my female, Xena's, separation anxiety and with my male, Beauie's, excessive barking! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful product. Beauie and Xena are hairless Chinese Cresteds. I have attached a few photos of them relaxing in their collars :-) Bubby: I think we have a winner. He did get upset when the Drs. were in his ears, but, the arrival to the vet and the wait in the waiting room, was much calmer with the Calming Collar. He actually was friendly and relaxed with the nurses. He also sat up front in the car with my husband, which has not happened since he was a pup. Because he used to scream, we have had to put him in his cage, covered up, to travel with him in the car. I am convinced, that he is doing much better. And you are more than welcome to share our comments. Your collar is definitely making our little poodle socially acceptable. I am very, very grateful. Schutlz: This collar is a life saver for us. Works perfectly and Schultzie looks very manly in his collar. Teresa: Thanks, I just ordered 2 more collars one for my other dog and one extra. What a difference! I tried the collar tonight on my allergy suffering dog. It really helped to relax him – thank you! Tucker: To say the Calming Collar worked is an understatement !! I would say that within 15 minutes, or less, after putting the Collar on our Pug, Tucker, he quieted down dramatically. So much so, I've thought of getting one for myself!! Thanks for a terrific product !! Teri: Since she has been off the drugs and on the collar, she hasn't dug holes in my carpeting and scratched the molding off the walls. I do take it off immediately when I get home, so I think she knows that when I put it on, I will be back. Taylor : Yes, we liked the first one! But, it was just a little too big and worked just a little too well. Our dog is a 12 lb. Yorky/Silkie mix and the two rows were just too strong for him....sort of knocked him on his butt.....if you know what I mean....lol Taylor has Separation Anxiety really bad, especially when we have to put him in his kennel. The previous owners left him in his kennel one day for 14 hours, so his anxiety is very understandable! But, there are times when we HAVE to leave him in there for a couple of hours and he's going to have to stay in it on the flight back to the states in 08'....so we're trying everything!!! Just a little more info than you asked for.....lol.....but hey, that's me :) Jo Jo : I wanted to let you know about my Jo Jo and how he is doing since getting your calming collar, so far when I put it on him he does calm down, we even had a wind storm and he managed through it, the big test will be when the monsoons come in July. I was almost to the point of getting sedatives for Jo Jo due to his hyper anxiety problems it is so scary when it happens and so hard to know you cannot help him. Recently he had an attack and I took him outside and was able to calm him down, "something I have never been able to do before the collar" his breathing went back to normal and he fell asleep with me and slept for about 6 hours. BB: It smells wonderful and I know BB is still adjusting to it. She has been rolling around on it, but I can already tell it is mellowing her out. Lisa : I ordered a "calm me down" collar for my dog last fall. I must say that I find it has helped tremendously with her separation anxiety. Since the one I have is starting to wear, I would be interested in purchasing another one. Olive : My weimaraner, Olive is now a seven month old puppy. I bought a calm me down collar for her when she was 4 1/2 - 5 months old. Weimaraners are normally very hyperactive puppies. She gets 2 walks a day and is still ready to play toys when we get home at times. When she exhausts us and will not calm down, we put the calming collar on and PRESTO! within 15-20 minutes most times she is laying down for a nap! Amazing! Thank you Mendez Group! Jackson : He has calmed down quite a bit. I'm surprised. He really did settle down -- I think it's working YAHOO!!!!!! Dare: HI DEB! THE BULLDIVA'S LOVE THE ANIMAL PRINT TOO COOL COLLARS YOU MADE FOR THEM! THE COLLARS REALLY HELP THE GIRLY GIRLS STAY NICE AND COOL OUT BY THE POOL WHEN THEY'RE NOT SWIMMING AND THEY LOOK GREAT TOO. EVEN DRY, THEY WILL MAKE REALLY CUTE COLLARS, LOOKING LIKE GIANT BOWS ON MY BULLIBABES. THANKS AGAIN, DARE, MISS LaTeDa & MISS ZELDIE. Peanut: Peanut has become afraid of thunderstorms. Since we live in Florida, this can be a problem – we get a lot of thunderstorms in the summer months. We had been testing the Calm Me Down blend for about a month, when it hit me – why not make her a Calming Collar. You know what they say about the cobbler's children! Sorry, Peanut! Now, when I hear a distant thunder roll or see her skulk across the floor (because she often knows before we do that a storm is coming) I scoop her up and clip her Calm Me Down collar on her. She no longer hides under the bed or in the closet during a storm. She just curls up on the couch or on top of my printer, or on top of a pile of fabric I need to use. Buff: Someone set off a firecracker and Buff got very spooked and agitated. His Mom took him home and instead of giving him the drugs she had gotten from the vet, she thought she would try the collar first. She called us about 45 minutes later to report. She couldn't believe the impact – he snuggled up with her on the couch, just resting – and this is a dog that rarely sits still! Kiwi: One of my friends was “dog-sitting” her Mom's Sheltie, and wrote me this: “Just an update on the calming collar... I think it really worked! Kiwi was much more relaxed and not so uptight last night! My mom even noticed a difference when she got home today... Kiwi wasn't as hyper as she usually is! :o)”. Annie: It was her first groom. The owner told us that he had kept her mostly at home. She had not had much chance of getting socialized with other dogs or people so was very excited and started barking at everything she could see or hear, we placed the calming collar on her and we were even surprised how quickly it worked. Within about 2 minutes Annie had stopped barking and was sitting quietly in her pen, within 10 minutes she was relaxing fully and was starting to doze off. She had a sleep, woke up but stayed calm and quiet for the rest of her time with us. She was with us approximately 3-4hours. Bailey: He was full of life and fun, and his first groom was like trying to groom a never ending moving ball, placed the collar on him he calmed down, when we put him back in his pen still with the calming collar on he sat quietly just watching what was happening, after a little while he had a short nap – after seeing the results the owner bought a collar and is very happy with it. Tammy: She is a very nervous girl, likes to bark at most everything, placed the collar on, her barking got less and eventually stopped altogether (within 10 minutes) she calmed down completely and relaxed in her pen quiet happy. Tuxedo: He is one of our most difficult customers to handle, he is extremely nervous and is a fear bitter. He is getting better but is still difficult and usually takes two people to groom him. We put the calming collar on him, and he relaxed, one groomer was able to handle him and he was calmer during the bathing, drying process as well as the second clip process. Black Jack: Suffered very badly from car sickness, owner tried everything but nothing worked. Used one of our Good To Go anti-motion sickness collars and managed several long drives without showing any symptoms – owner was very happy and relieved as the car sickness problem was one the family had had enough of and were all complaining, now the four legged family member as well as the two legged family members all ride together happily. Gypsy: She is a barker - history of excessive barking - put calming collar on - took about 8 minutes then she stopped barking, relaxed, when we removed the collar to wash/dry her she started again, then stopped when it was replaced, didn't bark during the rest of her time in the shop. Sam: It was his second groom and he was hyper and barked at everything, we placed a collar on him, he stopped barking nearly immediately, laid down and relaxed within 10 minutes. He was relaxed when groomed and when we placed him back in his pen – he turned out to be a good boy because of the collar. Gucci: A very nervous barker as well as anti-social behavior with other dogs, we placed the collar on him he stopped barking and forgot about trying to kill the other dogs that were next to him – it was nearly a pleasurable experience to groom him, instead of a nightmare.
